FDA 2024 Dense Tissue Mandate

Millions of women have just been told
their mammogram may not be enough.

The FDA's updated Mammography Quality Standards Act, effective September 2024, requires all mammography centers to notify patients with dense breast tissue. Breast MRI detects up to 3× more cancers in this population. ClubHouse Imaging brings this critical supplemental screening directly to your club.

The difference between
early and late is everything.

01
MRI sees what other tests miss
A PSA blood test can suggest prostate cancer but cannot locate it. A mammogram misses up to 50% of cancers in dense tissue. MRI maps soft tissue in extraordinary detail — finding tumors PSA and mammography would never identify.
02
Whole-body screening catches the unexpected
Kidney masses, liver lesions, aneurysms, and early cancers rarely cause symptoms until advanced. Catching them before symptoms appear changes treatment options and outcomes entirely.
03
No radiation — ever
MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves — no ionizing radiation. Safe to repeat annually as part of a preventive health routine, for both men and women, with no cumulative risk.

Board-Certified Urologist

Dr. Mack is a board-certified urologist and specialist in prostate cancer diagnosis and urologic oncology. He personally communicates prostate mpMRI results to patients, bringing his clinical expertise to every conversation. His involvement ensures that members receive their results directly from a urologist who understands the clinical significance of prostate health and individual cancer risk.

Licensed: Florida  ·  Georgia  ·  South Carolina
All diagnostic reads are performed by contracted fellowship-trained subspecialty radiologists — GU imaging for prostate mpMRI, body imaging for full-body MRI, and breast imaging subspecialists for breast MRI — licensed in all operating states.

Clinical-grade safety.
Every scan, every patient.

Contraindication Screening
Every patient is screened by our certified MRI technologist before entering the scanner. We check for pacemakers, metal implants, cochlear devices, and all other contraindications. Your safety is verified — never assumed.
Structured Reporting
Prostate scans use PI-RADS v2.1. Breast MRI reports follow ACR BI-RADS standards. All reports are reviewed by Dr. Mackey before being communicated to patients. Subspecialty reads only — no general radiologists for complex studies.
Incidental Findings Protocol
If something unexpected is found, we have a documented protocol for communicating that finding promptly and connecting you with appropriate specialists. A finding is information that enables better decisions.
No Radiation — Ever
MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves — no ionizing radiation whatsoever. Safe for annual screening, for both men and women, with no cumulative risk. A meaningful advantage over CT or X-ray for routine preventive use.

Everything you
need to know.

Do I need a referral to book?
No referral required. ClubHouse Imaging is a cash-pay direct-to-patient service. Book directly through our scheduling system — our physicians serve as the ordering physicians for your scan.
Does insurance cover this?
We are cash-pay only and do not bill insurance. However, FSA and HSA funds are accepted. Many patients use these pre-tax dollars to cover the cost entirely.
I was told I have dense breast tissue. Should I get a breast MRI?
The ACR recommends supplemental MRI screening for women with dense tissue, particularly those at elevated risk. Our breast MRI offers exactly this — conveniently, at your club. Ask Dr. Mackey if you're unsure whether you're a candidate.
Is the contrast injection for breast MRI safe?
Yes. We use macrocyclic gadolinium agents — the safest class per 2024 ACR guidelines. Adverse reactions occur in less than 1% of administrations. We screen your kidney function before every injection and our team is trained and equipped to respond on-site.
How long until I receive my results?
A personal call from Dr. Mackey or Dr. Mack within 48 hours of your scan. A written report follows. If any finding requires urgent attention, we contact you the same day.
Can my spouse or partner also book?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Our three services cover both men and women. A couple can each receive their appropriate screening at the same club event. Annual membership packages can cover a household.
Is this the same quality as a hospital MRI?
Yes. Our on-site unit contains hospital-grade 1.5T MRI technology with a dedicated breast coil for breast studies. Same clinical protocols, same image quality standards, same subspecialty radiologist reads — delivered at your club.
How often should I get screened?
For most men over 45, annual prostate mpMRI is appropriate, especially with elevated PSA or family history. For women with dense breast tissue, annual breast MRI alongside mammography is ACR-recommended. Dr. Mack will advise based on your individual risk profile.

Your health is worth
an hour of your day.

Early detection is the most powerful tool against cancer — for both men and women. Book your screening at your next club event, or ask your GM when ClubHouse Imaging is coming to your club.
